Applications are now available for the 2020-21 school year. We offer preschool programs at all Richfield elementary schools, as well as the Central Education Center. Our programs follow the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress and have been awarded a 4-Star Parent Aware rating.
Priority for preschool classes is given to Richfield school district residents who meet the eligibility requirements set by the Minnesota Department of Education. All completed applications received will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and placed into classes as space permits, or onto the waiting list.
Enrollment for 2020-21 preschool programs began with a 4-week lottery process which has now been completed and we are filling the remaining class spots on a first-come, first-serve basis as space permits within the enrollment criteria. If all of your choices are full, you will be placed on a waiting list and offered a placement if space becomes available. Priority for preschool classes is given to Richfield school district families who meet eligibility requirements set by state funding for early childhood. Out-of-district (open enrollment) applicants will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if space becomes available later.
