  • Building A Better Tomorrow

    Last year the Richfield community supported the students, staff, and families of Richfield Public Schools through an overwhelmingly successful referendum for our district. We are using funds from our operational referendum to reduce class sizes across the district, with further class-size reductions in kindergarten and first grade. Also, additional support staff for our students was added in every building and every program.

  • Centennial fifth-graders take a journey to the falls

    In mid-October, all Centennial Elementary fifth-graders had the opportunity to participate in the Journey to the Falls (JTF) field trip. The trip, which is coordinated by the National Park Service’s Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, is an integration of river and classroom experiences featuring history and literacy activities.

  • Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers Donate $10,000 to RMS

    Richfield Bloomington Honda of the Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers Association presented a check for $10,000 to Richfield Middle School on October 10. The donation was used to purchase computer numerical control, or CNC, machining equipment.

  • RHS juniors get a shot to see history in action

    For more than 200 Richfield High School (RHS) juniors, Oct. 4, 2018 is not a day they will soon forget. They’ll always remember it as the day they got to check out the hottest show in town, “Hamilton.”

  • Central Education Center awarded school safety grant

    Richfield Public Schools received a school safety grant of $182,000 from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). The funds will be used to enhance safety systems at the Central Education Center, 7145 Harriet Ave. S., which houses early childhood learning and screening programs in addition to community education and adult enrichment programming.
