Celebrating RPS Retiree Dr. Mary Clarkson

RPS is incredibly grateful for the 13 years of exceptional leadership provided by Dr. Mary Clarkson, who is retiring from her role as Senior Executive Officer. Over her distinguished tenure, Mary has been a pillar of support for our district's vital initiatives, also serving as the Director and Executive Director of Special Programs.

A proud Minneapolis native who attended Regina High School and St. Cloud State University, Mary has balanced her rigorous leadership roles by embracing the outdoors, but notes that "most of all, I value making memories with my grandchildren and spending quality time with family and friends." Her next chapter will bring plenty of both, alongside a highly anticipated change of pace. Mary plans on "spending much of my time at our lake home in Side Lake, enjoying the slower pace of life up north," where she will tackle remodeling projects, fish, and travel extensively to visit her grandchildren in Colorado and Florida.

Thank you, Dr. Clarkson, for your years of wisdom, advocacy, and dedicated service to our district. We wish you a beautiful, relaxing retirement filled with lake days, travels, and family!
