Student Spotlight: Carmen

About Carmen (from her nominee):

  • Carmen is exceptional—she is always ready for class with a smile and a positive attitude.
Her work is held to a high academic standard. She'll always have a friendly statement and kind words for others. I would love to have her in every class!

The Student Pride Award

Each week, our staff will nominate students who go above and beyond in our community through contributions to academics, supporting peers, community service, participation in school leadership, kindness, etc. If selected, you can expect:

  • Communication from the school regarding your award nomination, your action that contributed positively to our community, and the staff member who recognized you.
  • A weekly student spotlight section in the newsletter, on the website and social media, to celebrate the contribution of some of our many nominated students.
  • All nominees will be put into a drawing at the end of the week to earn a prize.

Bill Davis

A 1960 grad of Richfield High School, Bill Davis has spent his life giving back to the community. Now, as he retires from the Spartan Foundation after 31 years, they have announced a new scholarship which will be given to an RHS senior who exhibits the same zeal for community service that Bill Davis has had throughout his lifetime.
