Work at Richfield Public Schools This Summer

Are you ready to engage with students in our fun and interactive summer learning programs? At Richfield Public Schools, we inspire and empower each individual to learn, grow and excel.  We are currently seeking qualified applicants who are innovative, enthusiastic and looking for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students this summer. 

Classes are held Monday through Thursday, spanning over 3-5 weeks depending on the program, with a break during the week of July 4. That means ample time for rest, relaxation and extended weekends to recharge and make the most out of your summer. We can't wait for you to join our summer programs team!

Summer Program Basics

As a credit recovery teacher, you will be providing support and instruction to current high school students as they recover credits.

Work with students who are currently in grades K-4 (rising first-fifth grade) focusing on math, literacy, SEL skills and making meaningful connections with students.

As a Language Enrichment Academy teacher, you will be providing English language development instruction to students who are currently in grades K-4 (rising first-fifth grade) and in their first or second year of U.S. schooling. 

As an elementary summer program literacy coach, you will work with teachers to implement evidence-based literacy instruction through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching and other job-embedded professional development.

As an elementary summer program math coach, you will work with teachers to implement evidence-based math instruction through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching and other job-embedded professional development.

As a math interventionist, you will be working with students who are currently in grades K-4 (rising first-fifth grade) on math skills while making meaningful connections with students. 

As a reading interventionist, you will be working with students who are currently in grades K-4 (rising first-fifth grade) on literacy skills while making meaningful connections with students. 

As a Language Enrichment Academy teacher, you will be providing English language development instruction to students who are currently in grades 5-7 (rising fifth-eighth grade) and in their first or second year of U.S. schooling.

As a school social worker you will be supporting students with social emotional needs, and working with students and staff to create plans that support students based on group and individual needs.

As a Spartan Camp teacher, you will be providing instruction to students who are currently in grade 8 (rising ninth graders).

As a special education paraprofessional, you will support students in our extended school year (ESY) programs at R-STEM, RMS or the Central Education Center.

You will be supporting students with their social emotional needs, and implement positive behavioral plans and support students in reaching their individual goals.
