Richfield Spartans Softball Logo

Playing softball competitively includes five basic skills: catching, throwing, fielding, hitting and base running. Softball players should take time to practice the right techniques in the following skills in order to confidently and safely play the game. Even seasoned softball players must continue practicing and drilling themselves on these skills in order to improve their performance.

All levels of athletic ability are welcome. A basic understanding of the five skills to play softball is needed.

It's an opportunity for students to represent their school and be part of a team, stay active and healthy, learn teamwork, develop new skills, experience life lessons, meet new friends and have fun.

I coach to develop young student-athletes both as people and athletically. By developing their character, passion and work ethic they learn valuable life lessons through sports. Among which are being a good teammate, family member and worker. I coach my student athletes by always holding them accountable for what they do and earning the respect of others.
