978 Policy: Passes to Athletic Contests and Other School Activities

I. PURPOSE

The purpose of this policy is to provide passes to athletic contests and other school activities to designated groups.

II. GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY

Unless otherwise noted, the passes shall admit the bearer free to all home athletic events and concerts with the exception of the spring musical, playoff contests, conference sponsored activities and those events whose specific purpose is to raise funds. 

In addition to the passes listed below, the athletic conference issues passes each year to selected individuals (and guest).  Conference pass issuance is based on conference specific rules. 

III. PASSES AVAILABLE AT NO CHARGE

Richfield Public School passes are available at no charge for the following groups:

A. School Board Members

Upon request, a school board members will be given a pass upon taking office on the Board of Education. The passes are for life and include free admission for one guest. Requests must be made in person at the superintendent's office. 

B. Retirees

Upon request, all school district employees will be given a "Retiree" pass when they retire from the school district.  The passes are for life and include free admission for one guest.   Requests must be made in person at the superintendent's office

C. Senior Citizens

Residents of the school district (including those living in the Edina portion of the district) who are 62 years of age or older will be given a lifetime "Senior Citizen" pass upon request. Requests must be made in person at the athletic director’s or superintendent's office. Identification is required.

D. Staff

District employees showing a school photo I.D. will be admitted to all home athletic events.

E. Students

High school students showing a valid current school I.D. will be admitted free to all home athletic events. Middle school students showing a valid current school I.D. will be admitted free to all home athletic events when accompanied and supervised by a paying adult.

IV. PASSES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

A. The Spartan All Sports pass is available for general purchase each year through the athletic office. The student athletic pass/activity fee can be purchased through the High School office.

B. Season Ticket Sales

1. All Sport Season Pass - $75.00

2. Fall Sport Season Pass - $40.00

3. Winter Sport Season Pass - $60.00

4. Football Season Pass - $15.00

5. Volleyball Season Pass - $30.00

6. Soccer Season Pass - $30.00

7. Basketball Season Pass - $55.00

8. Hockey Season Pass - $55.00

9. Wrestling Season Pass - $20.00

10. Swimming Season Pass - $20.00
