Preschool Classes for 3-year olds and 4-year olds
Our focus is to provide your child with a high quality and engaging learning experience that will ignite a love of learning and prepare him or her for kindergarten. Our programs follow the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress and have been awarded a 4-Star Parent Aware rating.
Due to anticipated high demand, a lottery system will be used to determine the order in which applications are processed for enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year. Applications for the lottery will be accepted from December 14, 2018, through January 25, 2019 at 4:00pm.
Priority for preschool classes is given to Richfield school district residents who meet the eligibility requirements set by the Minnesota Department of Education. All completed applications received by 4:00 pm on January 25th from eligible families will have equal opportunity for enrollment. Placement results will be mailed to homes approximately the third week of February.
Any applications received after January 25th will be processed on a first-come, first served basis and placed into classes as space permits.
Out-of-district (open enrollment) applicants will be placed on an out-of-district waiting list.

Parent & Child Classes Birth - 5yrs
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a parent education program where parents and children attend class together and also separate for part of the time. No families will be turned away due to inability to pay. Classes are held at the Central Education Center or at other locations in Richfield.
