“Emily is an incredible student who works hard to achieve greatness,” said teacher Erin Huber. “She challenges herself and never discredits her own worth. She looks at all difficult situations with a growth lens and finds creative ways to reach her goals. Emily has strong intrinsic motivation and excellent time management to balance all of the commitments in her life."
Students who participated in our production of Urinetown received multiple honors and high rankings from the Hennepin Theater Trust. All of these students will have a chance to participate in the Spotlight Showcase at the State Theater in Minneapolis on Tuesday, June 13.
The Spartan Crew is a group of high school students who work to help our new and incoming students become comfortable navigating high school.
We are thrilled that ten Richfield High School students are Wallin Scholars, each receiving up to $16,000 over four years, as well as college advising and access to ongoing support.
Last week we honored our 2023 Tom Spooner Award Nominees: Eliajah Randle, Nathan Gay, Casey Gay, Jalen Hayes, Angel Mendez Lopez, Cole Madison and Alexander Estrada Cortez.
This spring, we hosted our annual Job Olympics competition for Transition Plus students and some RHS students, where they practiced their job readiness by participating in mock interviews, completing resumes and applications, writing thank-you letters and more as part of their work-based learning.
The Minnesota Supreme Court's Traveling Oral Arguments program visits high schools twice a year, and we were thrilled that Richfield High School was the latest destination for this exciting opportunity!
